Jena is widely known for its big companies such as Zeiss or Schott. Those companies aim to be innovative and thus came up with various inventions that have shaped the science world. But Jena is also frankly known for its tourism sights such as the JenTower. Tourist destinations like the Imaginata show us that a combination of Jena's "scientifc sides" with more fun aspects is possible and also widely used by the public.
In the following PowerPoint we want to present some examples of how Thuringia effectively uses the ideas of those big companies and tries to implement their inventions in all of our every-day lives. Furthermore, we wanted to show some tourism destinations that combine science with enjoyment.
