APRIL: STORYTELLING

  • Children all over the world love listening to stories. Stories that come with a meaningful message and can inculcate qualities like wisdom, courage, honesty, etc. They also help in making students acquainted with the language as well as in learning new words and phrases. A story helps a child imagine the characters, places, plot etc. This also enhances creativity, making them more imaginative and open to ideas and free thinking.

But... what happens when the storytelling becomes a drama and children are the real protagonists of the story?

Then, the story provides personal expression , it helps the child to distinguish between reality and fantasy, it provides for children's social adaptation, it improves intellectual development and specifically creativity, through interaction, transformation and imagination. Dramatic play is fundamental to emotional, social and intellectual development of children.

This is our goal for this month, we will create colaboratibe stories between the participant countries with a STORY CHAIN:

    1. Each country will start a story until the main plot, but the story will stop leaving a free end for a partner country which will be in charge of solving the conflict or the problem of the story. The story will be recorded and sent to the partner country in order to be finished.

    2. Each country will also receive the video of the first half of a story which will be finised and recorded too.

    3. Each country will join the two parts of the story and make a single one in a video and upload it on this page.
