’Inclusion in practice' Polish mobility 2
This was a 'bilateral' meeting of Polish and Hungarian students. New students to the project were introduced to social inclusion and social entrepreneurship on both sides because the previous participants have already graduated.
Before the mobility students were asked to make a short video at a workplace for people with disabilities. Students visited the Nem adom fel Café and Bar in Budapest and made interviews with the workers about their tasks, plans. They took photos, ate together and taught the workers a Polsih saying about Hungarians in Polish. This video can be seen at the Materials section.
The topic of this mobility was people with disabilities, again, especially people with Down syndrome. Participants visited two cafés / clubs in Czestochowa run by a foundation which aims to integrate people with Down syndrome and other disabilities. Students had a chance to talk to the leaders, workers of the café and get to know their successes, plans and everyday difficulties. They had the opportunity to mee four Spanish and French volunteers who help the foundation. They all watched the video prepared by Hungarian students and they were also reciting the same saying but in Hungarian as a present and greeting for the workers of the café in Budapest.
Beside social inclusion workshops, participants took part in entrepreneurial workshops, too. They played games with the volunteers to get to know each other better and to be more active / involved.
Students took part in sightseeing programmes to learn more about Czestochowa and the region. They visited Auschwitz concentration camp, Wieliczka salt mine and Krakow during their trip.
After the mobility the follow up task was to fill in students' diaries.
