Discovering the Greek School

    We would like to present you our school. Our school is an old building and it hasn’t got a lot of facilities. There is no assembly hall or gymnasium in our school.Our school has got a main building and classrooms around the yard.

    So, we would like to present the following places in our school:

     

    • The headmaster's office has three desks, a big map, one printer,  paper trays and a stereo.
    • The teachers’ office is a spacious room and teachers work there or relax.
    • In our school we have a school canteen. It is in a small attic between the ground floor and the first floor of the main building! There we go in our breaks and relax while we are eating. Also we are allowed to stay there when the teachers are absent. Our school canteen sells food like sandwiches, chocolates and a lot of drinks.  In the canteen there are also tables and chairs to sit while you are eating or just to relax with your friends. The atmosphere in the school canteen is very pleasant and friendly.
    • In our school also we have a yard. There we go during our breaks to relax or have fun with other students, to play volleyball or basketball. Our yard has got a court for basketball and a court for volleyball. Also the yard has benches where we sit with our friends.

     

    In our school we have different classes for different uses.

     

    • On the ground floor of the main building we have the science laboratory, the computers’ room and the dark room (we call it like that because there are no windows in it). In the dark room room students watch films. They can also borrow books from our small school library (3 bookcases in the dark room).
    • On the first floor of the main building we have 5 big classes which are for the first and second year students. We also have separate classes from the main building which are for the third year students.
    • There are two classrooms held in containers which are a little bit smaller than the other classes.
    • Finally, the three classes for the last year student’s which are also outside are the bigger of all and the earlier made.

    Our school is a small place but it's warm and friendly!
