Some ideas for coding environments |

We use the online environment having an account per student and we share galleries for common activities
We embed scratch projects in twinspace and we also give the link per project so that other students can remix it
Dr. Scratch website is an analytical tool that evaluates Scratch projects in a variety of computational areas. This analyzer is a helpful tool to evaluate Scratch projects.
MicroWorlds Pro is a coding platform for learners using the Logo language for their programs. It is the main programming environment in Greek junior High Schools (free download the Greek edition here) It supports colored shapes and animations and also gives users media editing and creation tools such as drawing utilities and an expansive color palette. Other media can be added to projects through simple drag and drop file manipulation, with even HTML elements supported for this feature.
Pencilcode is online platform; very good for creating class online and having a switching mode between blocks and command line environment ( a simple example is the following project that it is embeded in twinspace: If you click here then you can go to my project's online page and edit the project. The project is a very first approach in coding for a student; every time you click on the "CLICK" button on the screen then the turtle draws a purple line and turns right 90°. )
Easy to practice Virtual Reality:
Alternative environments for VR projects: Google Tour Creator, StorySpheres
** We can use the "Street View Download 360" to download 360°images: https://sv.appio.eu/
--> We can use the CoSpaces Edu to create collaborative story using 3d images and simple scripts:
** Create an account as a Teacher
** Create a Space in which we make our story with scripts
** Create a Class to use it as assignement to our created space
** A code will be attributed to our class to be provided to our students (after they create acounts as students).
You do not have the real thing? No worries! A good approach of what you could do is via the online simulator. Very easy and a first approach to robotics
