  • Valsequillo school is really happy and excited to participate again in this wonderful project. We are preparing a beautiful song called "Seguiremos".

CEIP Valsequillo is a state school and is set up in an eastern town of Gran Canaria Island. Its main source of wealth lies on agriculture. Although this town has about nine thousand inhabitants, it has become a dormitory town as they carry out their professional and economic activities out of it.

This Primary Education state school, which also comprises Infant Education, receives approximately 300 students. The school opens its doors at 9:00 and closes at 14:00, providing a dining hall service managed by a private company, a nursery service at 7:00 and voluntary out-of-school activities such as Abacus Maths Learning courses, judo, English subject, painting and educational reinforcement until 16:00 arranged by the AMYPA (association of students’ parents). The school students are distributed into 13 groups: 4 of Infant Education and 9 of Primary Education. The average ratio per class is twenty-two children.
