During this trip, we visited St George’s church in Porto Lagos, the tobacco museum in Kavala, the house of the shadows in Xanthi, (both students and teachers enjoyed it), and we walked through the alleys of the city of Xanthi, giving visitors an insight into the history of its major landmarks. The highlight of the trip though, was the tour of the archaeological site in Philippi, as the majority of students and teachers made a particular reference to it in their evaluation report. The activity is rendered successful, as the average evaluation scores on the part of both teachers and students produced an aggregate result of good 25% (33,3%) and excellent 62,5% (50%) respectively.
