“Equality” – commments for the film
On 8th March students from middle school watched a short film entitled “Equality” recorded by students from elementary school in Oława. The film tells a story of a boy from Ukraine who finds it difficult to be accepted by others and eventually sacrifices too much to be liked. Children’s rights film
During the last meeting for the “Time for school film” on 14th March, students watched a short film about children’s rights. The film was made by middle school students in Łódź. “Asylum” – 8th time for school film
This time students watched a short film called “Asylum” on 28th February. It was a documentary recorded by students from high school in Toruń. It presents the situation of refugees who fled from war-torn regions. They looked for a better and peaceful place to stay and they found it in Poland. Among them, there a lot of children. Time for school film 7 – “Save the Earth”
On 8th February students from middle school watched a film related to ecology. This animated film, produced by elementary school students from Kraków, shows different threats to our planet and tries to show the consequences of people’s actions. Poland – Time for school film 16
Students from Poland watched a film entitled “Safe on the Internet”. The film was recorded by students from middle school in Krojczyn and tells three stories of people who suffered the consequences of irresponsible behaviour on the Internet.

“Zmowa” – 4th time for school film
On 3rd December students from third grade of middle school watched a film made by other middle school students but from Gdynia. The film is entitled “Zmowa” and it shows how dangerous can be judging people by their appearance. It shows lack of consideration, understanding but it has a happy ending with an attempt to make up for the bad behavior. Students’ thoughts on “Epidemic”
Polish students from the third grade of middle school gathered on 19th November to watch a short film entitled “Epidemia” recorded by high school students from Toruń. It deals with the subject of information presented in the media, especially on the Internet.

Time for school film – new edition
On 9th October students from III grade of middle school watched a film titled “Cargo”. The film was recorded by students from high school in Grudziądz and it was all done with a smartphone. The film tells a story of a boy who took online relationship too seriously and that leads to a sad finale.
After watching, students thought about the film and tried to answer questions connected with difference between virtual and real-life relationships, the effect of modern technology on young people’s lives as well as their dealing with problems. Students in Dzikowiec watched a film about the European Union created by students from Płock on 26th April. It deals with different aspects of being a member of the European Union. On the 5th April students watched a film entitled “Tolerance” recorded by some students from a high school in Zielona Góra. The film tells the story of a few not tolerated people because of their appearance, religious beliefs, sexuality or love of knowledge. Polish students during their fifth “Time for school film”, on 19th February 2018, watched a production made by students of middle school in Bydgoszcz. The topic of the film was homelessness in modern times. The questions that the students debated were: Is it easy to become a homeless person? What are the cuases of this problem and how we can help.

3rd time for school film in Poland
Our “Time for school film” continues…On 11th January students form our school watched a film recorded by high school students from Wojkowice. The film showed a girl who is a victim of cyberbullying in different situations. At the end of the film students give advice how to deal with the problem and what we, young people, can do to stop it.
