Collaborative Stories

  • Collaborative Stories

For this activity we wanted our students to create stories collaboratively, let their imagination fly , understand what their friends wrote and be creative writing the continuations of all the different stories.

Ángel created this  shared document , with instructions and dates, in order to

    coordinate the activity.

    WORK PROCESS

Step 1 - Each country wrote the start of their own story.

Step 2- Each country sent the start of their story to another partner. The class teacher read the story to the students. The students continued the story.

Step 3 - The process was repeated until 4 stories were completed by all 4 partners. Then each partner illustrated the story which they had initially begun!

Step 4 - Some students created story book covers!

Step 5 - The other partners voted for their favourite cover. Read the report below!

Step 6 - The stories were all corrected by English teachers to ensure a high quality story!

    And now the result.....

Once all the stories were completed they were combined to create the online version of the storybook. This was done by going to www.youblisher.com.

    GAPIE collaborative stories

Nedi from Dasoupolis primary school (KB) used all the pictures to create a video showing all elements of the collaborative story process!

Finally, students from both countries read the stories while their teachers recorded them. The end result were the audio story books you see and hear below!
