Pupils learn not to copy from each other, not to use each other’s work. Then they will be evaluated individually and only the best will gain. But is this always the case? Does success depend on and do results favor only the very few, if not just one, who are hard-working and blessed? In open source software and hardware, creators share their outcomes, no matter how small, in order to make a new product. Pupils will be divided into groups in the same classroom to create graphics, construct a program and even make a small robot. The outcome will be shared and criticized by the whole community. Then, groups will be reformed to include children from different countries and ages. This time they will be able to communicate through chat rooms. The results will also be shared with the community, to evaluate and use. A fitting that is not considered possible even today is girls and women in technology. We plan to make robotic teams of all gender, working together to share ideas and solutions.

30 young students- aged 6- worked in groups on coding during the Code Week in October 2018; this activity aims to bring coding and digital literacy to everybody in a fun and engaging way. Learning to code helps us to make sense of the rapidly changing world around us, expand our understanding of how technology works, and develop skills and capabilities in order to explore new ideas and innovate.
Working with LEGO WeDo 2.0 Science
With the provided building instructions, our students, in pairs, built an arm using the Motion Sensor that allowed Milo to detect the plant sample. They also built a plant sample on a LEGO® round plate.
The program string provided made the rover go forward until it detected the presence of this sample object. It stopped and made a sound.
We used that opportunity to have students record their own sound for the discovery.
