The Paralympic national champion of swimming and adapted cycling gave a talk to the students of Basic Professional Training (BPT) as  a "Role Model" that helped us to motivate our students in achieving the goals 3 "Health and Wellbeing", 5 "Gender Equality" and 10 "Reduction of inequality" of the Agenda 2030. "

Lydia Ramos showed us a great example of how motivation and personal effort allow us to achieve goals that before we were not capable of imagining. She also commented that discovering sport and all that she was capable, was not only a physical improvement, but above all an improvement at the psychological level. Now she is a happy person who clearly knows what she wants to do in her life.

Example of all that is the phrases that the BPT students wanted to share about the experience:

"The girl seemed to me a reference for us" (Marina Valero)

"She showed us that although we are sad, we can always find the way" (Eli Jimenez)

"It's an example to follow" (Laura Hurtado)

"We have learned that with effort and dedication everything can be done" (José Martínez)

"She has changed the way how we see our lives and confront it" (Adrián Sahuquillo)

"A very good talk" (Ismael Mirapeix)

"Everything can be achieved" (Iván Jarque)

"Not everything is easy in life, we have to overcome all the obstacles to reach the goals we propose" (Álvaro Oliver)

"Everything can be done with effort and dedication" (Fran Mañez)

"You can do everything you propose" (Danaya Giménez)

"You do not have to surrender and you have to improve day by day" (Miguel Muñoz)

"With the will you can get everything you propose" (Daniel Sánchez)

Congratulations Lydia and thanks for giving us an example to follow!
