As part of the Erasmus + project, our teachers and students together with partners from Lithuania and Italy organized in their countries the celebration of this holiday.

In Wodzislaw we started the celebrations with "The most delicious Pi number" contest.

The jury, which was presided by "Magda Gessler", had a very difficult task, because the quantity and quality of the presented baked goods turned out to be very high. After exhausting deliberations, the competition commission awarded Marysia Miketa from class 3A first place.

The last, most awaited point of the event was a competition for high school students "Mathematics -  Some Like It Hot". In the competition there were ten 3-person teams. After the emotions associated with solving tasks, participants listened to the lecture "How Archimedes calculated the approximate value of Pi " .

In the competition for high school students, the class 2A team composed of Szymon Frelich, Marcin Łukasik and Szymon Szymiczek won. The winners were awarded by the headmistress Janina Rurek.

At the end of the holiday, participants of the competitions arranged for a joint photo.
