Spain arrives at Bergen airport and Siri will guide them to the boat. Arrival at Bømlo, Rubbestadneset at kl.17.40. Hostfamilies will meet them at the quai. Teachers are taken to a restaurant and then to the cottage.

• Spanish students and hostfamilies are welcome to Bremnes ungdomsskule for a light meal and meet&greet at approximately kl.16.00.
• According to the arrival plans above – Siri will welcome everyone and guide them to transfer.
• Arrival at Bømlo, Rubbestadneset at kl. 16.30, you will welcomed and transported to our school for a light meal and greet&meet.
• Teachers decide where they want to have dinner/make in the cottage
• France will arrive by bus at 21.20, host families will meet them at the busstop. Siri will be there.

• Teachers will be transported to their cottages.
• We will take you to the supermarket to buy food for breakfasts. Everything is closed on Sundays!

Sunday 01.10

• Everyone meet at the school at noon, kl.12.00
• We present the program for the week
• All students find their group, they are divided to be in mixed groups by me
• We have different activities inside and outside according to the weather
• Barbecue in the forest nearby

•   We arrange a hike, choose the longer one to a peak nearby or the shorter one in the forest. Either one is nice and easy to achieve!
• Hostfamilies and school parents are attending and helping with the activities

Kl. 1700

• Students go home with their host families.
• Teachers have the possibility to make a common dinner in the cottages.

Monday 02.10

Kl.0840 - 1020

• Students and host students meet at school.
• They go directly to the P.E room for a brief orientation and are divided into 3 groups
• Each group follow the Norwegian students assigned to them, for a school tour
• Students and hosts will attend the short break between kl.10.10-10.20

Kl.1020 – 11.20

• Students are given classes to attend
• Students will eat their lunch with the class, lunch brought from host family

Kl.09.30 – 12.00

• Teachers are picked up by Siri and Hans and meet at the teachers lounge
• Short tour around the school, we can also stop by a class or two
• Have coffee and a bite in the music room
• Discuss questions and plans (meet up time Thursday i.e.)

Kl.12.00 – 14.00

• All guests and some norwegian students go with Siri and Hans to see the new school
• Back to the old school in time for school buses

Kl.19.30 – 21.30

• Meet up for all teachers, students, host families and local students with their families. Someone from the municipality will be there, local press
• International cultural evening in the concert hall

• Presentations of all the schools and regions
• Students from (all?) the countries sing, dance, or do something to entertain us
• Parents bring “des petits fours”

• We walk at Bryggen, on Unescos inheritage list, Siri will guide briefly
• We take the funicular to Fløien and enjoy the view, eat sandwiches we brought
• Students will walk around town in groups, some Norwegian students will look after each group. They will have different tasks to solve, but are mainly free to see the town.
• Teachers are free to go to museums or have a substantial lunch, or both

• Back at school before the school buses leave

• Students meet at school and join a class

• Students have time to chat, play family games, socialize

• Teachers meet up
• Bus to Moster

Kl. 10.30 -13.30

• Visit to Moster (Siris part of the island J)
• See the church from the year 1100
• See the amphi theatre
• Hear about the mining activities on the island
• Eat sandwiches on sight

• Walk around the area if the weather is nice

Kl. 14.30

• Germans,Spanish and Romanians are taken to the bus for Bergen (group fare- I expect their response to my letter soon…)

Saturday 07.10

Kl. 08.00

• Host families transport students to the boat. Departure Italy and Lithuania. Teachers take a taxi. The boat barely stops, you have to be there in time!

• They take the boat to Bergen and can explore the town before going to the aiport. Tramway or bus directly to airport.

Kl. 09.00 –

• Students and teachers from France meet up with Siri, Hans and a driver.
• Remember to bring sandwiches and snacks
• We drive to Jondal and the summer ski resort (closed, but the snow is there)
• We have time to enjoy the snow, go downhill by luge and have a snowball war
• Lunch on the way back
