A COLLABORATIVE DIGITAL BOOK

“ THE GRUFFALA”

This digital cooperative book will consist of a book  created by all our students, where each member will create one page of this book (9 pages in total), but changing  the characters: we could come up with new animals and create a new creature, but this time, it´s a female: The Gruffala.

The story can also take place in a different place, other but the wood.

Each member will write their piece of story in the language they prefer, as there is a member who is working in the project using a different language from English. In that case, the translation into English will be also added.

We will work with our students values like the ones implied in the original story, like “cleverness is more important than strength”, but for example, we might end the story in a different way: both the Gruffala and the main character become friends and live together among diversity without scaring each other, or even all the animals could end up living together in harmony. Also, students will decide what to say in each scene. Each member records an audio of a piece of story different from theirs. This way, each slide of the story will be created from multinational groups, consisted of students from different countries.
