Children in year 1 listened to the story being read to them in english.They already knew this story so they were stopping the story and anticipating what was going to happen next.

After  reading the story children in teams discussed what the main values were,what we can learn from the story and afteras a whole class we went together trough the meaning of "values".

Our next step was watching a video with the story in spanish adn english subtitles,children were actually fascinated to hear it in another language and to see and realise that those values they were learning were also common to other countries and places around the world.

 

"So Children in other countries also learn to be kind and share in School?"Khadija 1S

After talking about sharivng and how happy that can make us and others, children started colouring their scales to share with all the participating schools in order to create a collaborative fish with everyone's scales.
