    Brief description:

    In this project the partner schools will open their classrooms to share best practices in the area of ​​citizenship education. Children will have the opportunity to meet other children in Europe, discover similarities and differences reflect on the importance of mutual respect and living together.In each school the students will conduct training and research, to produce documents allowing them to present their class, their activities in the citizenship education (to socialize, learn empathy, cooperation, understand simple rules of living together). Thus the children learn cooperatively with other countries comrades.
    Gradually they will also gain ICT skills and learn to share their knowledge with other European students.

    Training objectives:

    • Make children know from other countries
    • Learn more about other European schools
    • Confronting other languages
    • Prevent stereotypes and prejudices and transmit tolerance
    • Use TUIC to learn and communicate
    • Work on education for citizenship, the child learns to recognize what distinguishes it from others, to be recognized as a person, to live with others in a community organized by rules
    • Develop empathy
    • Appropriating the language
    • Socialize
    • Seek imagination
    • Introduce the culture of writing
    • Act and express with the body

    Working Procedure:

    • Introducing the class, the school, the City (October / November)
    • Our rules : children explain in their own way the rules in their class (December)
    • Treasure hunt for road signs, in the school and around the school: the children take pictures, looking for pictures to learn their meaning and compare them with those of other schools (January-February)
    • Let's play: games and activities for learning empathy, mutual respect. Each school has the role of games, pretend, cooperation activities, .... the kids have practiced during these months of the project; children give their opinion (March-April)
    • A collaborative magazine: children cooperate to achieve a collaborative magazine with drawings, photos, words on the theme "Living Together" (April-May).

    Expected results:

    As part of this project we aim to share good practice between European schools share to stimulate citizenship education and learning empathy. Our shared ambition is to bring children a real awareness of the diversity of languages and cultures in the European space. Beyond this diversity, the student will also include work, play together and recognize it. Our goal is to create a collaborative magazine. The exchange of productions by children (photos, video, audio, ...) on the TwinSpace with partners, by means of ICT, will allow everyone to get to know.
