Me and Myself Week

  • POLAND

In September 2017 we took part in the International Dot Day -

it is a day of beliving in our own abilities and creativity! The inspiration behind the event is the children’s book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. It relates the tale of a teacher who challenges one of his female pupils to take courage in her abilities and from a dot on a page the youngster goes on to make her mark.

Teachers duty is to encourage students to make the first step and look for their talent because everyone has got a talent - we just have to find it in ourselves!

Pupils also took part in Me and my self-respect Week. We talked about our abilities and things we are good at. We drew our hands and wrote down the things we are proud of.

    November 2017

All pupils participated in Me and my Self-Respect Week. For a week, they joined different activities through which they focused on their own possitive characteristics in order to increase their self-respect. The different types of activities are shown in the video.  Moreover, pupils that participate in our school's art club draw and coloured words related to self-respect. These words were displayed on the 1st floor, oppoite to the school entrance, so they were visible to more people.
