    FLOAT OR SINK ?

It is a very simple activity designed for our 3 year olds. We prepared a container with water and collected different object in our garden and playground (leaves, nuts, stones, balls, pieces of wood). Then one by one we checked whether each object would float or sink. We also asked the students why it happens like this. Results: only the stones sank. Why ?  According to our kids - because they are very heavy :)

    AUTUMN SENSORY BOTTLES

Together with our students we had a walk around our school garden and collected leaves, berries, chestnuts, flowers, sticks, etc,  We decided to capture wonderful autumn colours in a bottle :) The rest of this activity took place in the classroom, where we put all the collected objects in empty plastic bottles, add some glitter just for a little more sparkle and add water. We had a lot of fun playing with our bottles.

    AUTUMN FUN

In this week we went to the forest. We looked for various treasures of autumn like: chestnuts, colorful leaves or mushrooms. We took this things to our kindegarden and later we made a different musicals instruments. The most interesting instruments for our students was: throwing the chestnuts to a long tube. The second part of this experiment we made in our kindegarten because we had rainy and windy weather. We had really good time J
