    HOW TO USE THIS TWINSPACE

    Hi eTwinners!

    Welcome to this ‘Mapping our eTwinning journey’ project template! 

    This online resource has been created by UK eTwinning ambassador, Kate Keaveny and is designed to help you to kick- start your own international school project as quickly as possible. You can watch Kate's video tutorial on how to use this TwinSpace here.

    We hope that you find this resource useful. Please do feedback any comments or suggestions for improvement via eTwinning@britishcouncil.org.

    GETTING STARTED:

    • If you have yet to find a partner teacher to work with, login to eTwinning Live and search for ‘people’ within the ‘partner forums’ to find a suitable teacher to start your project with.

    • Once you have found a partner, register your project using the word ‘map’ or ‘mapping’ within the title (this will ensure that you are fast tracked to our eTwinning National Prize shortlist, for a chance to win a prize in 2017.

    • If you need some help completing the above, have a look at our guides or contact us.

    PAGES:

    • This Twinspace is structured around a series of ‘pages’. On the left hand side, you will see a menu with sub-menus, where you can access all of the pages.

    • There are activities within each page aimed at each Key Stage, you can copy and paste all of the pages within this Twinspace into your own, or just the pages you want.

    COPYING PAGES TO YOUR OWN PROJECT:

    • Use your cursor to highlight the text and images on the page(s) you wish to copy.

    • After you have created a page within your own Twinspace, copy and paste the contents.

    • Please note that some pages have free interactive tools embedded e.g. Padlet and Google Forms. You will know which pages use these tools, as we provide you with a guide to download and create your own at the top of the page. As per icon below:

    • We do provide a sample of the tool for you within the page, however you do need embed your own Padlet / Google form etc.
