A24. COMPLEMENTS

  • The students will recover information provided by elderly people and on the Internet about all the complements needed to typical dances in each country.They will also create and expose some of them.

    ITALY

    Students made researches on the Internet and interwieved their grandparents about traditional dances and complements they wore. They also edited a booklet explaining their research, traditional dances, songs and instruments.

    FRANCE

    Students have chosen to present "French Cancan", a famous "French" dance. They have created two dresses inspired by French Cancan with recycled items. These dresses haven't been finished yet....

    SPAIN. 

    We have selected and displayed complements of the typical Andalusian outfit, the one most commonly related to Spanish culture and dancing.

     
     
     

    LATVIA

    We have selected complements of the traditional Latvian national costumes, used for dancing folk dances. We visited the children's and young people's leisure center "Laimite". Watched children dance group dance attempt. Got to know Latvian national costume details.

    We choose a traditional dance POLONEZ by Michał Ogiński. The elements of costumes are of authentic origin.

    This national dance "POLONEZ" is danced ever year by students in our school 100 days before MATURA EXAMS during a special ball.
