Students will create a large or actual size sculpture from recycled materials using or breaking down pre-existing materials, reinterpreting them and finally offering them a new form with a new purpose.
TASKS:
T1. Students will attend a workshop related to recycled art. In case this would not be possible, students will, with the help of art or technology teachers, search for information related to recycled art. Then students will have to plan the “what”, the “how” and the “where”. That is, students will have to think about what are they going to create, what materials they are going to use, how they are going to create it and where they are going to search for the materials.
T2. Students start creating their work of recycled art.
T3. The sculpture will be exhibited inside or outside the school depending on the materials and its size. Finally students will elaborate a diary explaining in English all the steps that were taken to create their work of art. This will be uploaded to TwinSpace.
