Activity 6 (kinds of love -DEFINITION-)

  • Čonga Peter- Ludus

Ludus is playful or uncommitted love. It can involve activities such as teasing and dancing, or more overt flirting and seducing. The focus is on fun, and sometimes on conquest, with no strings attached. Ludus relationships are casual, undemanding, and uncomplicated but, for all that, can be very long-lasting.

Love is always patient and kind , never jealous ... love is never boastful or conceited , it is never rude or selfish, is not offended and not a grudge . Love does not feel satisfaction for the sins of others but delights of truth . He is always readyexcuse , to trust , to hope and to resist any storm

Our type of Love - Pragma

Pragma is a very practical love. This love is the one that being of service. There are a couple of different examples of this type of love such as the character Charlotte in the book Pride and Prejudice, Frank and Claire Underwood in House of Cards and the TV show Ordinary People. The “colour” of our love is Green.  People who prefer Pragma Love approach their relationship in a "business-like" fashion and look for partners with whom they can share common goals. This was the deep understanding that developed between long-married couples. Pragma was about making compromises to help the relationship work over time, and showing patience and tolerance.

    The flirting and playful Love-Ludus

Ludus is a playful, not binding kind of love. It does not involve a stable relationship or engagement, but a lot of fun and variety. It often involves sexual freedom. Even if we do not agree to that, flirting is a way of getting to know people.

    Ludus:

This style of love stands for freedom in the sexuell way. Not a "real" relationship with engagements but with fun, pleasure and changes. The people who prefer ludus love often change partners. I don´t prefer this kind of love because I like the love when two people are together and spend a lot oft time and have fun and like them like they are.

Agape (Greek ἀγάπη) is the Greek term for a kind of unconditional love and thoughtful, in which the lover takes into account only the good of the beloved. Some Greek philosophers Plato's time the term used to designate, as opposed to personal love. It is universal love, understood as love of truth or humanity. Although the term does not necessarily have a religious connotation, it has been used by a variety of ancient and contemporary sources including the Christian Bible. contemporary Greek philosophers Plato and other classical authors have been used in different ways the word "agape" to denote love of wife / husband or family, or interest in a particular activity. In contrast to philos (friendship, love amical, brotherhood or sexual love) and eros, a condition of a sexual nature. Here you must explain what your kind of love is. Write a short definition about PRAGMA, PHILIA, PHILAUTIA, EROS, LUDUS and AGAPE.

    An exemple:

Agape (Ancient Greekἀγάπηagápē) is "love: the highest form of love, especially brotherly love, charity; the love of God for man and of man for God."[1] The noun form first occurs in the Septuagint, but the verb form goes as far back as Homer, translated literally as affection, as in "greet with affection" and "show affection for the dead."[2] Other ancient authors have used forms of the word to denote love of a spouse or family, or affection for a particular activity, in contrast to philia (an affection that could denote friendship, brotherhood or generally non-sexual affection) and eros, an affection of a sexual nature.

    Zoe López Enguídanos

The type of love that characterizes God is not a sappy, sentimental feeling such as we often hear portrayed. God loves because that is His nature and the expression of His being. He loves the unlovable and the unlovely, not because we deserve to be loved or because of any excellence we possess, but because it is His nature to love and He must be true to His nature.

Agape love is always shown by what it does. God’s love is displayed most clearly at the cross. “God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved” (Ephesians 2:4–5, ESV).

    Salvador Naharros Pérez

Agape is a decision, a matter of will. The key principle is to think of agape as a verb, not an emotion. Agape love is the foundation for the best and noblest relationships that humans are capable of. It is deliberate and unconditional love that is the result of choices and behaviors rather than feelings and emotions.

Diego Ruiz Moya and Jorge Balfagón

Agape is an incondicional love for the person that you love. The only thing that it´s important is the wellness of the other. This word comes from the latin, agape. Platón introduced this concept in:`The Banquet´.

    Lucía Martínez Puente

The early Christians used to refer to the special love of God, love of God to man, and even a love that every human being must feel toward others. It is a quote from the Gospel: "God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

In the early days of Christianity, agape also meant a meal in common, which is the meaning it retains today: food, feast. In this sense, also it means love devouring lover, to be able to deliver all this without expecting anything in return. Agape love is the divine love of God.

    Jorge López Riesgo

Agape Agape comes from Latin , although its most distant etymological origin leads to a Greek word that can be translated as "love" or " affection " . Specifically , we can determine that comes from the Greek word " agape " , which was used to refer to that love unconditionally type in which the person concerned only cares what the welfare of the individual she loves

    ELENA HUESO GARCÍA:

The love  is a feeling of affection, interest, affinity and attraction to something or someone. In matters of love Greeks explain the love divide it in six differents types of love: Eros, Pragma, Philautia, Ludus,Philia and Agape. Agape is an unconditional love for the others that can be compared to the gold rule, in this rule we treat people the way we like to be treated. Agape love is kind, attentive, caring and freindly is a selfless and altruistic love too it don´t look for pleasure for itself but you can find pleasure and delight giving help to another people.

" The important thing is not the number of shares we do, is the intensity of love we put into every shares"

    Mother Theresa of Calcutta

    Goya Giménez Gómez
Agape love is true love , the love of God, divine love, sacrificial love . It shows us that we need to grow, to have the ability to delay gratification so that there is true freedom between a pair to also have a real delivery. Greek philosophers at Platon's time the term used to designate , as opposed to personal love universal love, be love of truth and humanity.

    Andrea Orduña Dejoz

Agape comes from the Latin although its etymological origin leads to a Greek word. That word might be translated like "love" or "affection". Agape is a total love and one of its features is that this love doesn´t have to be reciprocated by the other person. It´s an unconditional and selfless love: give without receiving anything in return. Moreover agape is the opposite of other important term: "eros" which is a love with more sexual conditioning.

Sara Castro Lahoz and María López Martínez

Agape love is a little different. It is not a feeling; it's a motivation for action that we are free to choose or reject. Agape is a sacrificial love that voluntarily suffers inconvenience, discomfort, and even death for the benefit of another without expecting anything in return. This is the Greek word for love at its ultimate.  Agape love is not like a brotherly love or a love  between a husband and a wife. It is the most self-sacrificing love that there is.  This type of love is the love that God has for His own children.

    Susana Espinosa Sánchez

God is the author of love. But above all, God's love is agape love . God always gives and loves as agape love is constant . Always wants the best for the people
True love, Agape, is more than a beautiful feeling, is a compromise. A compromise is a decision backed by actions.

    Nuria Hurtado and María Beneit

Agape love is an unconditional love type in which the person concerned only cares what the welfare of the individual she loves.

    • It doesn’t envy.

    • It isn’t irritable.

    • It always trusts.

    • It endures all things.

    • It doesn’t grudge against.

    • It’s suffering.

    • It’s kind.

    • It rejoices with the truth.

    • It supports all things.

    • It creates all things.

    • It hopes all things.

    Ainhoa Cano Panach

Outside of the New Testament, the word agape is used in a variety of contexts, but in the New Testament it takes on a distinct meaning. Agape is used to describe the love that is of and from God, whose very nature is love itself: “God is love”. God does not merely love; He is love itself. Everything God does flows from His love. Agape is also used to describe our love for God, a servant’s faithful respect to his master , and a man’s attachment to thing.

    Philia

We recognize philia and its meaning from the name Philadelphia, that is, the city of brotherly love. This is the love of friendship, best friends, and the fellowship of being with those people you enjoy. The phileo love refers to an affectionate, warm and tender platonic love. It makes you desire friendship with someone. It’s the kind of love which livens up the Agape love. Although you may have an agape love for your enemies, you may not have a phileo love for the same people. The translation of the word phileo is love in the noun – form: it is how you feel about someone. It is a committed and chosen love.

Silvia Mucskova: Philia in the Bible

Philia means close friendship or brotherly love in Greek. It is one of the four types of love in the Bible.

Philia and other forms of this Greek noun are found throughout the New Testament. Christians are frequently exhorted to love their fellow Christians:

Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.

Elizaveta Meisinger: ´´Ludus´´ the playful love

Ludus is one of the six kinds of love. It´s when you just want to have fun without having a serious relationship.                                                      You even won´t have lovesickness after a a break up.

    Karin Frühwald

Philia is a type of unconditional, brotherly love. The related Greek word "koinonia" is very close to philia, which means fellowship. This type of love is usually common in family and friendship relationships.

    Fanni Vajani

Philia is a type of love, it means brotherly love. This word has a Greek origin. This kind of love is usually between family members or friends. The opposite of philia is called phobia.

    Oksana Jacenko

    Philia-

Friendships of the good are ones where both friends enjoy each other's characters. This is the highest level of philia, and in modern English might be called true friendship.

    Stella Ziff

The Four Loves are Agape, Philia, Eros and Storge. I choose Philia. Philia is the love between friends as close as siblings in strength and duration. The Friendship is the strong bond existing between people who share common values, interests or activities. Friendship is sometimes more important than eros. Everybody need Philia. Somebody who can be your second half. A friend. More than friend, a sister.

    Philautia, Finland

Philautia is self-love. Loving others requires loving yourself. If you hate yourself, you will have little love to give to others.

Somebody told me fame is a disease
You start singing the blues when you start seeing the green
But I think it's all about what you choose
The way you live your life, depends on you
    That's when I realized I wanna make a difference
Change other people's lives, give hope, even for a moment
Use my name for good and change the game I could
Because to make it you think I gotta act a certain way
Be a little bit insane, live a little, it's okay
I guess we have different definitions of living
But you'll twist my words anyway
    You'll say that I'm naive, like I don't have a past
You're the one being deceived, I see right behind the mask
Tryna to stir me up and get me mad
And I smile because happiness is all I have

Philia is a Greek term that describes a type of love characterized by a platonic but true friendship. This kind of love is not physical at all. Best friends can be said to share love that is philia.
