Day 4 - 10th March

  • Visit to the Huerta

    Route 1: Path of the palm trees

    This itinerary pass across a traditional path that get you into an unhurried rhythm of the life in the vegetable garden ('huerta' in Spanish). You will be able to imagine how life was like here in the recent past.

    Agromuseu de Vera

    Museum dedicated to the vegetable garden, located in an old mill from the 16th century.
    In it we will learn about the farming instruments used since ancient times in the Valencian countryside and how people worked and lived in the garden.
    We will also be able to discover how the ingenuity of man knew how to take advantage of the energy of the water that flowed through the nearby ditch, that of Vera.

    Talk "Schneider electric"

    Planting seeds

    Five mixed teams are formed (one student from each country).
    Each team works planting the seeds of the botanical garden at school. 

    Games at the sand

    All the spanish students worked on the traditional Valentian games in the English class with their teachers.

    A student was designated for each game who was in charge of explaining it to the greenies.

    Farewell dinner

    Everything has an end. We have had very good times together and we have learned a lot.
    Farewells are sad and we will miss you.
    Looking forward to meeting again in Croatia.
