Activity 1: Wood and paper
In this workshop we will make recycled paper from used paper, for this we will make paper paste, which the students will be able to observe and touch the consistency, then we will strain it and they will make their own sheet of paper.
We will also talk about recycling in general, about the various containers that exist and how we can collaborate to improve the environment.
The students will participate in a recycling game, placing various elements in the appropriate containers and answering any questions they may have.
The Jardí Exterior will visit its most emblematic areas, emphasizing those products that come directly from trees or other plants, such as wood to make furniture or barrels, or toothpicks, leaves to make "vegetable paper" , fruits from which soap is extracted, etc.
Activity 2: The dispersal of fruits and seeds
All plants have mechanisms to disperse seeds, since once the seed germinates the plant cannot move. For this reason, seeds and fruits can travel and use various ways to do so, such as through the wind, animals and water.
In this workshop we will observe this diversity of fruits and seeds and all the mechanisms they offer, you will be surprised!
