Reception with the major of Alboraia
Our Erasmus+ students were received by representatives of the Alboraya town hall.
The major gave a warm welcome to our European partners, thus inaugurating the We Go Green project with the first mobility in Spain, so special for IES La Patacona since it's the first Erasmus+ project for vocational training at our school.
Visiting IES La Patacona school
The headmaster of IES La Patacona, Juan Carlos Garrigós, has received our friends and students from the upper levels of vocational education have shown our school to the visiting teachers.
They especially liked the electrical and hairdressing workshops. In this one our students were learning how to do fallera hairstyles.

How much do we know about the other countries we share the project with?
Maybe not as much as we would like but this game will help us get to know each other better.

Make a splash
Make a splash is the motto of mobility in Valencia.
Pupils had to study the water consumption of their respective schools and think of different solutions for saving water.
In these presentations they shared their conclusions with the rest of the participants.
Workshop "Companies and environment"
SURVEY: What is the waste produced by companies in the neighborhood of La Patacona? How do they deal with them?
Walk from Patacona to Malvarrosa promenade
We gave the greenies a triptych with access to information through a qr code and with the map of the promenade.
They could admire the neighborhood of Cabanyal, unique architecture with small and colorful modernist style houses; see the House-Museum of Blasco Ibañez in an old palace of the famous Valencian writer; and have something on a terrace of the local outliers nearby, have an artistic-cultural tertulia and enjoy the sunset of Valencia.
