Transnational Meetings

  • FIRST TRANSNATIONAL MEETING - PORTUGAL 2015

    Our first transnational meeting was held from 2nd to 6th November 2015 at Agrupamento de Escolas de Casquilhos, Barreiro, Portugal. It was of the utmost importance as the basis for a successful project had to be laid. The working sessions were therefore long and exhausting, but in the end we were able to discuss all the important issues concerning the management, implementation, dissemination and evaluation of the project. After the working sessions, we still managed to have some time to get to know us better and to have some fun together. All in all, it was quite a rewarding experience, which the following videos try to portray.

    SECOND TRANSNATIONAL MEETING - CZECH REPUBLIC 2016

    Our second transnational meeting took place from 8th to 10th November 2016, at the partner school 1st International School of Ostrava, in Ostrava, Czech Republic. During the event the first year of the implementation of the project was assessed, its weaknesses and strengths were identified and the second year of the project was thoroughly planned. Participants were also given the opportunity to observe a few lessons and to visit a few places of interest in Ostrava, namely the Dolní Vítkovice area, the Bolt Tower, the Landek area and its mining museum, among others. Hopefully the following videos will manage to depict how great the meeting was.

    THIRD TRANSNATIONAL MEETING - PORTUGAL 2017

    Our third transnational meeting took place at AECasquilhos, in Barreiro, Portugal, from 6th to 8th June. It was quite a busy meeting as it was our last meeting and the end of the implementation of our project was getting closer and closer. Actually, the issues we had to deal with during the work sessions were the following:

    • Presentation of the formal and non-formal activities carried out at national level in the 2nd year;
    • Survey on the implementation of the 1st intellectual output: Discussing/analysing the results obtained in every partner school/drawing conclusions;
    • Evaluation surveys by students, teachers, head teachers and parents: analysing the results; assessing the impact of the project;
    • Intellectual outputs: analysing/discussing and approving the final format of the 2nd intellectual output;
    • Discussing the further use and dissemination of intellectual outputs 1 and 2;
    • TwinSpace and project website: checking and updating the content;
    • Mobility tool: Content and main issues;
    • Final report: basic info; writing down the short summary; discussing content to be included in the other sections;
    • Sustainability of the project: activities and results that will be maintained after the end of the EU funding.

    Anyway, after the workshops we still found some time to go to Sintra to visit the Pena National Palace and Quinta da Regaleira and to go to the seaside (Sesimbra and Galápos). In spite of all the hard work, we can say that we had a great time together, which can be proved by the following video:
