On 10th November 2016, 50 students attending year 9 went to the Pavilion of Knowledge, in Parque das Nações, in Lisbon, to participate in the activity "Mission: Urban Sustainability" within the subjects of Physics and Chemistry, Natural Sciences and Geography.
The activity "Mission: Urban Sustainability" was based on the 17 sustainable development goals defined by the United Nations until 2030. It was a 90-minute activity that consisted in solving six challenges on urban sustainability, whose main aim was to raise awareness of sustainable urban construction and recovery. Students were confronted with the possible consequences of their decisions as far as the success and longevity of the town they live in is concerned.
