SHORT-TERM STAFF TRAINING MEETING - LANCHESTER 2016
From Monday 25th to Friday 29th January, 2016 teachers from all partner schools got together at Lanchester E.P. Primary School, England, to create a curriculum for formal and non-formal education for sustainable development that could be delivered throughout Europe.
Apart from having attended the workshop “Towards a sustainable society" led by Rich Hurst, participants also had the opportunity to take part in a non-formal activity titled “Supergrid Wind Turbine Project”, observe some lessons and visit The Antarctica Exhibition at Palace Green, in Durham, as well as some important monuments/places in England’s North East.

SUNDSVALL - SWEDEN 2016
The 2nd short-term learning activity of our project took place in Sundsvall, Sweden, from 14th to 18th March. During the event many activities were carried out such as the creation of logos, a workshop on recycling and ecology, a guided tour to SCA, visits to Bergeforsen Hydro power plant and Kuben, lectures on human rights, sustainable development and energy consumption, as well as on local projects and local problems connected to sustainable development, among others. The event involved both teachers and students from all partner countries.

TAURAGĖ - LITHUANIA 2016
Students and teachers from all partner countries got together in Tauragė, Lithuania, from 16th to 20th May. While teachers attended an ICT workshop, students took part in lessons and activities related to environmental issues.

TARGOVISTE - ROMANIA 2016
Our 4th short-term learning took place in Targoviste, from 26th to 30th September 2016. It was the first of the academic year 2016/2017. During the event both teachers and students attended a workshop on project management led by Professor Stegfania Iorache at Valahia University of Targoviste. Apart from having participated in a few formal and informal activities and attended a lecture about the natural reserves in Romania led by representatives of the Local Authority in Environmental Protection, they also got the chance to visit the Institute of Scientific and Multisiciplinary Scientific Researches of Valahia University, Chindia Tower, Ialomicioara Cave, Babele and the Bison farm in Bucsani.

WSCHOWA - POLAND 2017
The 5th short-term learning activity of our project was held in Wschowa, in Poland, from 26th February to 4th March 2017. During the meeting while teachers exchanged good practices of formal activities, students created a eco-fashion show, dictionaries of environment-related words in the native languages of all partner countries and eco-games. Moreover, all participants got the opportunity to visit the water tower in Wschowa and to go to Zielona Góra, where they had a guided tour to the Center for Natural Science of Johannes Kepler and went to the local Planetarium to watch the movie "Earth, moon, sun". They also got to know Sława, where they explored the local forest and visited two observation towers (Joanna and Świętobór) as well as the weather station in Radzyń. A chemistry show, a zumba lesson, a Ju-Jitsu performance and a city game were also part of the agenda.

MANNEQUIN CHALLENGE
TARANTO - ITALY 2017
Our last short-term activity took place at IES Cabrini, in Taranto, Italy, from 2nd to 8th April 2017. For the last time teachers and students from all partner countries got together face-to-face to go on developing the project in an international setting. While teachers presented some non-formal activities carried out at national level, students attended lessons and chemistry, art and audiovisual workshops and presented the environmental projects they developed or have been developing in their schools this academic year. Apart from all that, all participants also got the chance to visit the National Archaeological Museum and two amazing towns, Martina Franca and Alberobello. Moreover, they went on a guided tour to WWF Oasis “Palude e la vela”. In short, it was memorable experience for all participants.
