World Car Free Day is celebrated every year on September 22. The aim of this day is to encourage motorists to give up their cars for a day. Furthermore it inspires people to use alternative means of transport such as bicycles, or go on foot. This day was established as a Europe-wide initiative by the European Commisison in 2000. In the same year the Commission enlarged the program to a full European Mobility Week.

The aim of this activity on our school was to realize the danger of air pollution that icretaes cars and to discuss about alternative solutions for transport (e.gbicycles, electric cars, or walking).

At the end we made posters promoting this day.
