    60. Year Ataköy Secondary School

    Our school was opened in 1983 as 60. Yıl Ataköy Primary School. When it was first opened, it started education in a single-storey building with 7 classrooms and 200 students. Since the opening of the school coincides with the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the republic, the name of the school was named as 60.Yıl Ataköy Primary School. Our school was reconstructed in 2003 on a land of 9800 square meters on 2265 square meters with a total of 5 floors, including the entrance, basement and 3 floors above it. Our school, which continued as an etude nutrition primary school until the 2012-2013 academic year, continues its education in the same building as primary school and secondary school in accordance with the law numbered 6287.

    The school was founded on the 1st of September 1966, under the name of ”Industrial School for the Machines Construction”, having four classes out of which two evening classes. It was the first technical school founded in Bihor County. The school has known a dynamic evolution. In 2002 it changes its name into Colegiul Tehnic ”Traian Vuia” - ”Traian Vuia” Technical College, name that has remained unchanged till the present day. Presently the school has 69 classes and more than 1500 students. It has educational programmes such as: technician in automative electricity and electronics, mechatronics technician, electro-mechanical technician, technician in communication, technician in transportation, automation
    technician, technician in hotel industry, hairdresser stylist, fashion designer technician, shop assistant/cook etc.

    Our school is in Terracina, south of Rome. We have about 1.300 pupils in Nursery, Primary and lower Secondary school. Among others, we have a Music course where students can learn to play the piano, violin, guitar and flute. We have a quite big school orchestra that every year takes part in national competitions and has won a lot of prizes. We have digital classes working with tablets and computers.
    Each class has an Interactive Board used for lessons.
    Our school takes care of each student and we have support teachers for children with special needs. Special attention is given to the integration of students from other countries whose number is increasing in the last years.

    The Secondary School of Pinhal do Rei was born on September 21, 1987, with another name but in June 17, 1994, inspired by the original name of the Pinhal de Leiria, which crosses from North to South the entire municipality of Marinha Grande. The pine forest began to be planted in the thirteenth century, during the reign of D. Afonso III, and was disseminated and regularized by order of D. Dinis (1279-1325). It had two initial functions: to hold the sands that the wind dragged into the fertile lands of the interior and provide wood for the construction of boats. It later served for the heating of populations and for use in metallurgical ovens and the glass industry. The fact that the pine forest was at the origin of the structural and economic development of the city and being a milestone in the history of Portugal justified the name.

    Our school has been around for 4 years. Our school is in Esenderede, the town of the college. Students between the ages of 15-18 study Science and Humanities here. They are interested in foreign languages ​​and have new experience in European projects such as eTwinning and Erasmus. We hope to find new friends and new ideas here.     Our school is located in Greece. In the region of Achaia and the district perfecture of Egialia, 150 km west of Athens. The school serves the needs of the settlements of the whole coastal zone of the Municipality of Akrata. Due to the continuous increase of the population of Akrata which numbers approximately 7,500 inhabitants.
