Teacher's Training in Madeira

25th to 29th October 2021

In October 2021, the "Out of the Box" partners had a teacher's meeting in Madeira Island, Portugal. In this meeting, that took palce from 25th to 29th of october, teachers from Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, Germany, Croatia and Portugal, as the host, developed a series of activites focused on the environmental education key-area of the project. You can find below a brief summary of the activities that took place:

• Walk around the city of Funchal and visit to the main historical palces and monuments;
• Presentation activities with the students' of Colégio do Marítimo (games, songs, dances, etc);
• Visit to the highest cliff in Europe, Cabo Girão, which is a viewpoint for the surronding areas and allowed us to observe the geographical and natural characteristics of the island;
• Exchange of good practices in Environmental Education, with the participation of a greek environmental specialist, Dr. Ippeki A. Vasiliki;
• Training activity about vertical gardens, with the participation of a cypriot tutor;
