We have researched about the subject recycle bottles and how much is thrown in Sweden. Here are our findings:

 

Every year we recycle about 1,6 billions bottles in Sweden. Only in Uddevalla, 2014,  we recycled 10 490 102 bottles, which corresponds 196 bottles or cans per person. When you are recycling an aluminum can, you save about 95% energy than when you're producing a new can.

Most of the cans that are made of steel are sent to Smedjebacken in Dalarna, to be melted down and making new steel so we can produce new packages and details for the car industry.

 

Sweden is one of the best countries in the world to recycle bottles, our suggestions for improvements to save the environment is to encourage as many countries as possible to start recycling bottles too. Help save our world!

 

Aglaia : You are fortunate enough to live in an environmentally friendly country. Recycling provides numerous assets to a country’s financial situation and boosts its economy. Furthermore, you learn responsibility and you become more environmentally aware. But, here in Greece everything is pretty much different. Recycling is not a prevalent phenomenon as our policy does not pass out rules and laws about this subject.
