    Portugal

    Portugal is calm, has beautiful beaches, the river Douro, good wines, nice shops, and shopping centers, very nice landscapes, people talk a lot, has 10 million habitants and the capital is Lisbon.

    The traditiona types of music are fado, "pimba music" and folklore, but there are lot of pop, rock and rap artists too.

    Some popular typical dishes are: Francesinha, duck rice, "cozido à portuguesa", codfish with cream, "tripas à moda do Porto", "assado"and "rojões".

    Italy

    Italy is our country, our wonderful country. It is rich in breathtaking natural landscapes as well as in amazing cities of art. We should name them all because every Italian region offers places of stunning archaelogical, artistic, cultural and natural value. It was the cradle of the Greek and Roman cultures but even during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance it gave birth to incredible intellectuals, writers, musicians, artists. We call it "lo stivale" because of its funny shape (like a boot). We love our food, our delicious culinary traditions, our musical language and our Constitution. Italy founded the European Union in 1958 with the Treaty of Rome but it belongs, at the same time, to the common Mediterranean culture.

    France

    France, country of northwestern Europe. Historically and culturally among the most important nations in the Western world, France has also played a highly significant role in international affairs for centuries. Its capital is Paris, one of the most important cultural and commercial centers in the world.
