IPSASR

  • The name of our school "Profagri" is a combination of two words: "professionale"and  agricoltura". We are a Vocational School for Agriculture, located in seven different towns in the Province of Salerno. There's no need to say that  farming and environmental issues are our daily  focus. On our farms we grow fruit and vegetables but our special product is the wine made from our grapes . We produce three types of wine: a red wine called "Pennarossa", a white wine with the name "Capoclasse" and the rosè   "Agrosè".

We take care of our fruits and vegetables from the fields to the  school's shop where our teachers, parents and other  customers can buy them every day but during the quarantine they were donated to people in need.

Our students  take part in  vocational internships, in Italy and abroad (they went to Sweden and England last year) but teachers have excellent opportunities to develop in their careers as well. Erasmus + projects see teachers happily involved every year.

Agriculture is a necessary activity because every food we eat comes from the farm. We should all get rid of the common prejudice about farming and consider it as it deserves. Our fields intertwine with our cultural heritage, with the stunning Greek and Roman archaeological sites, with the amazing Italian arts cities, with the breathtaking coasts and mountains of our country that are and must be a common European Heritage too. We are ready to share with you the beauty of Italy and are eager to admire and appreciate the wonderful places you'll show us.
