Bionics is an interdisciplinary area of knowledge that studies the structure and rules of existing of organisms as well as their adaptation in the technology and construction of technical equipment on the model of the organisms. Bionics is also widely used in medicine, where devices imitaiting the natural functioning of various organs and parts of the body are used more and more intensively. It gives a great chance for the development of advanced devices helping disabled, deaf or handicaped people in their lives.
