Technology Contribution in Buildind Industry

The students had the chance to study and present several buildings, in order to find out how technology affected the way they were constructed. The first set of buildings was:

1. Neolithic Settlement in Choirokoitia, Larnaca, Cyprus
2. Kourion ancient theatre, Limassol, Cyprus
3. Parthenon, Athens, Greece
4. Eiffel Tower, Paris, France
5. Burj Khalifa, Dubai, UAE

The students tried to find information about the materials used in each case, the tools and means of construction, number of people who was engaged in the proccess and the time needed to complete each one.
