Reports

  • GUIDELINES TO MAKE THE FINAL REPORT

The report has two parts. In the first part, each student will summarize the activity in the group of companies where he/she has invested. The following data can/must be included in this part:

    • Group of companies where they have invested
    • Number of companies where they have invested (from 1 to 10)
    • Number of transactions they have carried out
    • The most profitable investment
    • The least profitable investment
    • Reasons for their investment strategy (if they have invested the same number of times each week or not, if they have invested more or less in different weeks, etc)

Students can prepare this first part BEFORE THE MEETING in order to make the most of the meeting and focus on the collaborative task.

In the second part students will share their conclusions in their teams. Here are some questions to help them reflect on their work:

    • How are each student’s investment strategies similar or different to the other members of the team?
    • Was it better or worse to invest in many companies or in just a few of them? Was it the same? Why?
    • Was it better or worse to do many transactions or just a few? Why?
    • Was any of the weeks particularly good or bad for investment? Why?
    • What do you think about this activity? (here the supervisor teacher can ask questions to help them reflect on and assess the activity)

THE REPORT CAN BE DRAFTED IN DIFFERENT FORMATS. THERE IS NO TEMPLATE. Each supervisor teacher can help their group, offer ideas or suggest the use of a particular template or format to do the report.
