The green.if.i. project

  • A presentation of our green.if.i. project

    Project objectives:

    • Increasing and developing students and teachers’ awareness and knowledge of climate change both at a local and global level.  We would like to “greenify” our schools and school communities.
    • Sharing this knowledge with the wider community and inspiring them to make changes to their lifestyles.
    • Changing attitudes from indifference to action.
    • Involving vulnerable or underprivileged groups of students in the project, as climate change affects every singe individual.
    • Developing tolerance and appreciation of diversity and culture in the wider world.  We aim at our students and communities to be open to different realities in environmental issues.
    • Instilling the importance of our European heritage and at the same time embracing each country’s differences and own culture.
    • Working with different topics related to climate change using cross-curricular collaboration.  We will use different methodologies such as competence based teaching, project based learning and Montessori approach.
