The Evaluation was carried out in he beginning of June. We decided to keep the evaluation short and simple since we knew how tired our students were and how much they needed to use their time going back to normality, meeting their friends and leaving the sedentary schoolwork.
The project aimed to make students aware of the importance of taking care of themselves, others and the environment to make a better world. It started before the pandemic. We would never have predicted how the topic we chose was going to be so useful for our students to help them through the lockout sharing and letting their feelings out.

At the end of May, students from IES Príncipe Felipe in Spain were able to go out in the street again and had to get ready for their final exams at the same time. We understood that after two months of being kept at home, students found hard to follow the same pace carrying out the last activities so there was a decrease in participation for the Evaluation and the ‘future self’ assignment. Only the most motivated ones finished the tasks
Once the schools reopened, students from Commanderij College went back to class in small groups. However, they only had their regular classes, and the teacher couldn't meet them face to face again. In addition, due to the final test week at the end of the school year, students from Commanderij didn’t do the ‘future self’ assignment anymore, or the evaluations. However, the work they did was very good up to that very moment. They couldn't finish the project - although they worked very hard for it up to that point.
While students from Stevenage ESC still had lessons and kept working in the tasks

Music was chosen as the #1 thing that made them happy by students This is also shown in the Evaluation form where the activity "Care Playlist" was rated with one of the highest scores. Many students stated that they listened to the playlist often and learnt new songs thet the project mates posted.
Students also loved the section "Taking care of others: make our project partners laugh and have a good time". From the beginning, teachers involved in he project wanted to contribute to create a relaxing and positive atmosphere for our students in those hard moments. This activity was very simple and aimed to make students disconnect from difficult times for a while.
Three other activities were positively rated depending on the students:
"Introducing our mates;no to Cyber bullies" It was endearing and touching to see how students made their best to try to describe positive qualities of classmates they didn't know much, even of those they did not like much. Descriptions were done randomly by students of the same shool to introduce mates to project members. They were always sincere and tried to share those positive qualities they observed in classmates. The final lesson was that we all have something nice and try to focus on that in order not to be mean with others. They also stated thta it made them get to know others better. It was also nice for their sel-steem.
"Taking care about the world: learn about the enemy to fight it" They also found useful to learn and understand scientific facts about Covid 19. Although many of the facts were on the news, we found that some students had some misinformation about it, so some said that to look into the topic was interesting and helped them to learn more about this pandemic. Indeed, most of the answers show that our students have achieved an appropriate knowledge about basic aspects of the disease and the virus causing it. They also took advantage of this activity to learn English vocabulary related to what was going on.
"Care Escape Room" :They like this activity because it made them interact with others and show their creativity. they also liked to do an activity where many students in the project contributed.

As we said before, from the beginning, teachers involved in he project wanted to contribute to create a relaxing and positive atmosphere for our students in those hard moments. We wanted to entertain them as well as make them feel more relaxed. We also wanted to send the message that they could make the best of a bad experience.and focus on those aspect that could make them grow.
We are aware that taking part in the project might have been just a drop in the ocean, to contribute to enhance our students well-being in these strange and difficult moments we have gone through. However, we feel happy to learn by their answers that it had a positive impact for many of them.
