Our school grouping consists of classes from pre-school to secondary education and is located in the Center of Portugal, with 1,780 students.

We have classes from the 1th to the 12th year and the students are aged between 9 and 19 years old.

Pombal is located on the Portuguese Atlantic coast, covering an area of about 380 km2. Borthered in the North, with the municipalities of Figueira da Foz and Soure; to the south, with Ourém and Leiria; to the East, with Ansião and Alvaiázere and, to the West, with the Atlantic Ocean.

Praia do Osso da Baleia is located in the Carriço, in the municipality of Pombal. The name of this beach has its origins in the beginning of the 20th century due to the appearance of a whale skeleton that, according to oral testimonies, gave coasted on that sand.

This beach is a perfect place for those who enjoy great walks, sport fishing, bodyboarding, surfing, practicing beach volleyball, as well as for those who appreciate the natural beauty of a beach (dunes, flora and fauna).
Praia do Osso da Baleia received the “Praias Douradas” award in 1998. This award is given to beaches that present unique values from a geological, floristic, fauna, landscape or heritage point of view.

Osso da Baleia beach in 2004 received the Blue Flag award, renewing the same title, year after year.
In this area of singular beauty, recently recommended in an article on the American channel CNN, you can also explore the surroundings, as well as some aspects associated with fauna and flora, by doing the walking trails “Trilho da Lagoa de São José” and “Trilho da Baleia Verde”.
