Go Fish!

The eTwinning project “Go Fish!” has the main purpose of raising awareness about the ocean waste situation by using the Twinspace as a platform of sharing and exchanging information between the partner schools. The biggest challenge will be to coordinate the local stakeholders – organisations, sports clubs, businesses, local authorities and managers of natural areas – on a common day for an eco-citizen clean-up day, the highlight of this project. Considering that rivers are known as the main source of ocean plastic pollution, and they are the arteries that carry waste from land to the ocean, some of the partner schools will devote their work to nearby rivers and other water courses if they are from inland countries with no access to oceans or seas.
