TUESDAY, A DAY IN MADRID

Today, we have started our trip in the capital center eating the most typical breakfast from all Madrid, churros with chocolate! We have been in one of the best "churros restaurants" called Saint Gines.

After that, we met a guide that showed us some of the monuments from the Austrian part of Madrid like the Palacio Real, the Cathedral of Almudena, or the Town Hall. Also, we have enjoyed learning about how the Christians won against the muslims in "The Reconquísta" and what they were doing with their goverment.

Suddenly, we all got to the idea that we were in the Plaza Mayor! There we saw many people enjoying the great weather of midday and also playing with some bubble games! After crossing this square we all knew that we were walking trough the 0 km, also a famous place because of the tradition of eating the grapes on New Years´ Eve.

After a long day of visiting the great streets of Madrid, our German friends enjoyed the Museo del Prado and we came back to Boadilla del Monte.
