DAY 2: SPORTS DAY

For this second mobility, we organised sports activities that both Spanish and German students would carry out simultaneously, with laptops and screens projecting each other´s performances, and organising students in teams of Spanish and German students.  There were 2 events organised in the day: a relay race and an orienteering race. 

HAMBURG-BOADILLA DEL MONTE

•             RELAY RACE.

5 teams of 6 students between Spaniards and Germans individually carry out 6 different round trip tests from the starting cone to the arrival cone, traveling 20 m forward and 20 backward, following the next exercises:

1. Race forward.

2. Back race.

3. Side run.

4. Football dribble.

5. Basketball dribble.

6. Tennis ball throw.

The order will be alternating a student from each country, so that all players perform the 6 tests consecutively, doing the exercise two times and coordinating with the German students by videoconference.

Each team will establish a connection in the platform with the assigned team number.

We will make it easier for German teams by visualizing their turn with a card that indicates it.

Necessary material: 5 soccer balls, 5 basketballs, 5 tennis balls, 10 cones, 5 laminated cards numbered from 1 to 5, 5 laminated cards that indicate the exit to the German students through the screen and 5 stopwatches.

Sports events. Relay race

•             ORIENTEERING RACE.

The necessary material per team is: a map, a control card, a pen, a QR code reader (mobile). Attach plan, beacons in the form of QR codes and control card.

Each group must go along the designated route, with the markers on the map. The time of departure and arrival is recorded on the control card and the total time is calculated. They go out every 2 minutes.

A ranking is made with the times of each of the groups, adding 5 minutes for each beacon not found to their time of the race. The final classification is noted on the control card.
