On the celebration of the World Children’s Day we decided to make a poster about that, so that we can put it on a school wall. We made two same posters (one in English and one in Greek).
We made two teams, one for each poster and the children cut the shape of their hand on colorful papers and then they made a collage with them. After, they wrote inside every hand one right that they have as children and at the same time we were discussing about the importance of that right.
Convention of children's rights - implementation into school curriculum
Throught our home economics lessons and particular at the courses about nutrition, we discussed about article 24 of convention (nutritious food and a clean and safe environment).
We also attended a video conference hosted by the Environmental Education Center of Neapolis with the title "Learning about nutrition at school age". Notable pediatricians, as well as scientists and nutritionists of the Mediterranean University participated in this seminar, who:
- explained to the children the importance of a healthy diet and the most important nutrients that should never be missing from their diet, and
- informed them about the meaning of the ecological footprint and whether we can eat in such a way as not to negatively affect the environment around us.
EUROPEAN LANGUAGE DAY 2021_COMMON ACTIVITY
We celebratated the European language day 2021 together with our partners and made a short video to greet them.

World Environment Day
On the occasion of the World Environment Day, on June 5, the following actions took place in our school.
As part of the activities on Friday, June 4, some of the children of the program held a lesson in other students and informed them about climate change and environmental problems.
We also talked to the children about the method of composting and placed a composter in the school yard to put the dry grass and leaves and create organic fertilizer.
Finally, after cleaning a part of our school yard, we planted trees.

The students presented us their books about themselves and we teached them how to use Adobe Speark, to make their ebooks.Until next week our students will have finished their adobe spark.
Additionally, in my home economics lesson, we learned about healthy foods and why health foods are important for the child development as a part of the Convention. After discussion and relevant videos we draw foods and write the rules of healthy eating.
We completed lesson 2. We talked about the importance of the convension and we devided them into 2 groups. Group 1 made posters of the rights, group 2 made a song (music and lyrics all by themselves)
XMAS 2019 (ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY)
Before we close for xmas holidays, we did our last meeting. We wanted to make Christmas cards and to combine them to the children rights. And that’s the results…
We completed the 1rst lesson about children’s rights. The pupils divided into groups of 5 and discussed and analyzed the given rights.
Then we gave them a puzzle piece and they wrote and drew why that right is so important for the children all over the world.

NOVEMBER 2019 IN GREEK SCHOOL
We celebrated the 20th November - international day of CHILD RIGHTS
We visited the center of children with special needs (mostly autistic and with down syndrome) and talked to them.
We also visited their laboratories.
Our children worked with them and discussed.
This visit helped them to become aware about the children with special needs.
We finished the video about the school and the project pupils' team.
OCTOBER 2019 IN GREEK SCHOOL
We created a subpage at the school website and we gather there all the information of our erasmus project (meetings, teams, everything).

We completed our pupils team and we added them to the etwinning project
We also started the pro education about the children rights , just discussing about the convention.
Finally we started to design the logos for voting.
SEPTEMBER 2019 IN GREEK SCHOOL
There was a briefing parents day where we informed the parents of the project pupils about the project in general, about its goals, partner schools, project programme and short - term exchanges of the groups of the pupils together with project responsibilities and activities.
We focused our local project activities on the climate and its changes within the internationale climate change week.
