During the period of lockdown March - April - May 2020 our project continues even if virtualy with activities regarding the way we spend our quarantine and the celebrations of the World Book Day (23 April) and of Europe Day (9 May). The first of these celebrations with videos of our students reading their favourite books and the latter with a poster of all our photos with the saying we stay at home in all the partners languages. Finally we started a translation competiton among our students and we will soon declare the winner.

Byron College celebrated World Book Day with glamour!
We created a Stotyboard competition retellings of classic books with drawings or freeze frames. Here is a link to the Competition Winners Video https://www.facebook.com/286292881472756/videos/299221231052047
We also organised a Book Sale at our sheltered area! Great success!
Last but not least, we created an interactive display board with the books that have been suggested as the favourite of teens in a poll organised by the https://www.worldbookday.com/. Our pupils had to vote too to support or defy the findings of the poll!
We can't wait for the next World Book Day!
For World Book Day our school on Cornellà asked students and teachers to submit stories of a different kind: SPINE STORIES. All of us had to go through our books at home and create narratives out of their titles. Here you have a collection of the ones we got. They are in Catalan and Spanish but sure you can find the book titles!
HOPE YOU ENJOY THEM!
