Using this table, we will avoid repeating the same information about a museum which has already been presented by another partner.

    Our students can prepare texts, images, presentations about the main museums of their country. This information will be uploaded to the Twinboard on the page. 

    We will not present the museums we are going to visit: this will be the March-April task.

    National Museum Complex "Astra" is the largest open air museum from Europe and the most complete (traditional architecture, crafts, events, exhibitions a.s.o.), more than 10 km alleys and over 400 buildings of wood, stone, brick reconstructed in the museum to illustrate the everyday/ daily life of the ancestors who lived in villages of Romania. Diversity, multiculturality and tradition preserved and relived in The Open Air Museum from Dumbrava Forest are the main assets of the ASTRA Museum.

    The Archaeological Museum of Konya
    Konya Archeology Museum was put into service in 1962. Works belonging to Neolithic, Early Bronze, Hittite, Phrygian, Greek, Roman and Byzantine periods are exhibited. The museum, where excavations at Çatalhöyük, Canhasan, Erbaba, Sızma, Karahöyük and Alaeddin Hill and the Roman Period sarcophagi are exhibited every day of the week except Monday.

    The Madrasah With Thin Minaret

    It takes its name from what was once its extremely tall minaret, currently reduced to only the lower portion. Much of the minaret collapsed in the early twentieth century. The lowermost portion of the minaret is square and built of stone, which gives way to cylindrical brick, which must have formed the bulk of its height. The brick was once covered in green tile.
    The minaret sits slightly removed from the monumental portal to the madrasa. This entrance is testament to the skill of Seljuk stoneworkers: an inscription complete with floral and natural motifs is intertwined up the entire height of the façade. Further stonework in relief shows knots and other geometric decoration.
