  • This May 2021 our younger students were active and creative together with their teachers. Here you can see some of their work.

At the beginning of the fifth month, our fourth grade studied the flora and fauna of the sea, forests, and meadows.
Their teacher correlated subjects Science with Art to make several models of exotic birds. They read about them, studied their appearance, and then made them using paper plates and tempera paint.

In our extracurricular activity for our younger students, we made spring wreaths on the theme of birds. We used flexible twigs and made flowers and a bird out of felt. We also added a nest with eggs as a symbol of new life in the spring. We put it all together with hot glue. When we made this decoration, we talked about birds and their reproduction in springtime.

Our second grade made a bird-themed window decoration. These Birds on the wire look like real ones. They enrich the look of the classroom and bring nature into our school. The teacher correlated Science and Art while students learned about the habits of birds and presented them using collage paper. The aim of this activity was to get to know the habits of birds and their physiognomy.

In May, our art teacher Slavko Čučković manage to finish his beautiful bird sculptures. They are now set up in our school yard where they blend in nicely with the greenery and the newly landscaped yard.
The birds are made of metal wire and straw.

Autumn is perfect for developing the creativity of our students. This October 2021, our youngest students of the Bršadin Elementary School made hats and wreaths from leaves. You can see the most beautiful works in the photos.
