CONCERT. WELL KNOWN BIRD SONGS

  • The aim is to present a well known bird song in our countries, it could be an action song about birds.

    (Write the words of a song on a piece of paper or scan the text for partnership schools. Create a short video for partners. In the video, the students have to sing the song. The students can imitate a bird or its movements, and then make the second video. In this video please extremely slowly and clearly read the words in your mother tongue so that the students for partnership schools can learn the words too.)

    I was surprised that everyone sang Latvian song "Kur tu teci" pretty good! I guess the Spanish song was the hardest for us. However, all songs were nice and enjoyable!! It was nice project "Birds have to fly!" activity. That raised friendship and communication among four partnership schools! Teacher, Inese:)

    Pupils enjoyed this activity, they loved hearing their song sung by pupils who do not speak their language. They showed a lot of enthusiasm and dedication in learning a song that is in a foreign language. Danijela

    This was very interesting and funny.
    It was interesting to me how they mastered our songs and I thought they wouldn't know how to say Č or Ć, but they sang very well. I found it funny how we sang their songs We didn't know how to properly pronounce their words, but it was fun to participate in the project.

    When we sang songs from other countries, it was difficult, especially the Spanish song. It was interesting to watch others sing our song.
    Time quickly flew by and in the end, we sweetened ourselves with chocolates.

    The most interesting and the hardest thing for me was when we sang the Spanish song. I was amazed at how many students there were in one class. It was funny to me when we saw the Spanish song because we didn't understand it.
