Mobility to Croatia, from 13th to 17th of September
We are very happy that we managed to accomplish most of the planned activities. As partners of the Erasmus + project and hosts of this mobility, we tried to involve as many of our teachers and students as possible in the implementation of this mobility. We organized short ceremonial programs on the first and last day of this mobility. Every day we organized trips to various locations that are important for our region, our guests had the opportunity to see the cultural and natural sights of eastern Croatia. So we visited the city of Vukovar, its baroque city center, the River Danube, the Water Tower. We walked through the nature park Kopački rit, which is home to thousands of birds and other animals, one of the largest wetlands in Europe.
We visited the Bioecological - Educational Center "Virovi" that is situated in Spačva forest. There we also learned a lot about the flora and fauna of our region. We were in the city of Ilok, where we visited the Museum of the City of Ilok. Our teachers held two art and creative workshops for all students and we organized a monodrama by our local playwright Cvijetin Aničić.
We tried to offer our guests useful and interesting content, but also to give students time to socialize and get to know our culture and customs in the host families. We hope that our guests will remember our region and our people for a long time and that they will take only beautiful memories with them.
