The day began at Sea Life Aquarium where we could see not only fish common in Portuguese waters, but also sea creatures from all over the world. We also met Mariza, the turtle, and penguins that enjoyed the rain that fell on this day.

After lunch it was time for a lecture in CIIMAR, the Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research where we learned about the oceans, sustainability and the problems that plastic causes, not only on marine life but also in our own life.
